Fish Puree
Ingredients:
1. Fresh fish 50g.
2. 100ml of water.
3. Breast milk or formula milk (optional)
Cooking Method and Preparation:
1. Wash the fish, remove all fish bone.
2. Place fish fillet in a steamer and cook for 7 - 8 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.
3. Remove and place in a blender or food processor with breast milk or formula and purée until smooth. Or mash with a fork and push through a sieve to make a smooth purée.
4. Freeze leftover cooled purée in ice cube trays.
5. Do remember to check thoroughly for any trace of fish bone.

Remarks of Fish Puree:
Smooth pureed fish is safe for babies once they are eating solid foods at around six months. You can use any skinless, boneless fresh fish for this recipe.
As seen from the table of nutrition value, fish is rich in protein, fatty acids and minerals. The AA, DHA, ARA fatty acids present in fish is very beneficial for the brain development of the baby.
Together with the fatty acids, vitamin A can promote the vision development of the baby.
Rich potassium content of fish is also beneficial for the development of blood vessel and prevent heart-related diseases.
