Art in Music Open House
Step into our Art in Music Open House where we blend sound and visual expression into an unforgettable experience for your little ones! This event is designed to inspire them as they explore the connection between music and art.
In our hands-on activities, your child will respond to music using a variety of art mediums, expressing how melodies, rhythms, and beats make them feel. Through the use of lines, dots, marks, patterns, and textures to create an artwork, children will learn to express themselves more creatively. They will even create their own unique "brushes" and experiment with watercolour, dye, and water art, capturing the movement of sound waves on paper.
As part of this creative journey, your child will also be introduced to the principles of design, deepening their appreciation of artistic composition while having fun with music-infused art-making.
Don’t miss this chance to watch your child's imagination blossom in a space where sound and colour unite!
Exciting Activity Stations lined up for your Little One
Station 1: Nature's Paintbrush Studio
At Nature's Paintbrush Studio, children will unleash their creativity by crafting unique paintbrushes from an array of found and natural materials. With sticks, twigs, feathers, string, and other organic elements, children will construct their own tools of artistic expression.
Station 2: Vibrations of Colour
At Vibrations of Colour, art meets science as children experiment with the vibrations of music to craft mesmerizing artworks. By stretching paper over a drum and playing music underneath, they will witness soundwaves in action! Using a dripper, they will add water and paint to create beautiful patterns that dance and shift with the vibrations. Each piece is an evolving masterpiece powered by music and imagination!
Station 3: Rhythm & Strokes Canvas
Step into the Rhythm & Strokes Canvas, where music becomes the muse! Here, children will respond to the rhythm and mood of different melodies by painting with their handmade brushes. Suspended surfaces with various textures will be hung from the ceiling, inviting children to create dynamic lines and textures.

Ready For School, Ready For Life
Mulberry Learning is committed in ensuring that your child is equipped with the social skills as well as language and numeracy capabilities to prepare them as they progress to Primary school.
The child would have developed an expressive vocabulary of more than 4,500 English words, be familiar with more than 2,000 Chinese characters and have a strong grasp of mathematical concepts by then.
Their past project inquiry experience would enable them with research capabilities and provide them with the confidence to present their findings.

Voices of Mulberry Parents

Shauna not only enjoys the company of her Educators and classmates, she also enjoys the big ‘kor-kor & ‘jie-jies’ from the other classes that she gets to meet and learn from every day. The library visits really excites her. She remembers the names of all her Educators and classmates and will always mention them even over the weekends at home. We see tremendous improvement in her fear to shower too. However, the most pleasing thing to us is that she managed to cut down her reliance of her pillow (chou chou) through the educators’ patience and encouragement. The outside classroom learning is also very interesting and the school keeps us updated with Shauna’s learning with weekly photos and curriculum emails so that we can also reinforce the things she has learned in school. We will recommend friends to enrol their child in this centre as we have seen the commitment of the educators and its enriching programmes. - Sharon (Shauna's Mummy)

The educators are wonderful. Educator Cherry is very patient and Xin Lao Shi, the Chinese educator, is ever so helpful and wise in handling children. Zhang Lao Shi is very lovely too. Mrs. May, the Principal, is very supportive of the children and her educators. I heard one of my sons commented that Mrs. May is a very kind lady. The school is fun-filled, purposeful and aims to fulfil the needs of every child. - Quek Siew Kee (Francisco Garcia's Mummy)
