Development of the embryo

The embryo is very tiny and is invisible to naked eye, but can be detected in ultrasound.

The next few weeks will be very critical to the development of the embryo as baby's organs will start to develop. During this period, expectant mother should be more cautious in daily life such as avoiding sex, avoid carrying or moving heavy objects and avoid exposure to radiation or electromagnetic radiation.

Change to the expectant mother

Influenced by the hormone, your endometrial will become soft and nutritious, getting ready to nourish the embryo.

If you carry out a pregnancy test this week, the testing result will be most likely to be positive as your body has secreted sufficient HCG to be detected in pregnancy test kit or paper. Read further here for instruction to ensure accuracy of your test.
