Safe to Eat Yam

Is it safe to eat Yam during pregnancy, breastfeeding or while trying to conceieve?Is it healthy for infant, toddler or childrent to eat?

Trying to conceive

Yam, or taro, is very nutritious and can be included in the diet for men and women who are trying to conceive.


Yam is rich in iron and copper which are important for blood circulation and prevention of anemia.


Furthermore, yam has a high level of vitamin C which helps to boost immune system of men and women who are trying to conceive.
