Safe to Eat Pineapple

Pineapple is beneficial for couples who are trying to conceive.
Pineapple is rich in enzyme called bromelain which is an anti-inflammatory agent. This helps to reduce inflammation in the uterus and therefore help to boost fertility. Brocelain in pineapple is also believed in helping in implantation of the fertilized egg. However, you cannot eat large amount of pineapple as this may cause miscarriage.During Pregnancy
It is better for pregnant women to avoid pineapple during pregnancy.
When you eat too much pineapple, the bromelain in pineapple can cause vomitting, worsen the morning sickness. Furthermore, bromelain has been known to cause stimulated menstruation which may lead to miscarriage or premature birth.
During Confinement
Pregnant women should eat pineapple in moderate amount or just avoid pineapple during confinement.
Pineapple is one of the "cold" fruit which can cause discomfort in the stomach.
During Breastfeeding
Nursing mothers should eat pineapple in moderate amount or just avoid pineapple.
