Safe to Eat Cashew

Is it safe to eat Cashew during pregnancy, breastfeeding or while trying to conceieve?Is it healthy for infant, toddler or childrent to eat?

Trying to conceive

It is beneficial to eat cashew while couples are trying to conceive.


Cashew is rich in selenium - an fertility mineral, this mineral helps to protect sperm and egg from attacks by free radicals. Free radicals are compounds that can damage cells. This therefore increases chance of conception.


Cashew is also rich in zinc, another antioxidant that can help to increase sperm count and improve sperm motility-both are important factors for successful conception.

During Pregnancy

It is beneficial for expecting mothers to eat cashew during pregnancy.
