The fertilized egg consists of a few hundred cells but is multiplying very fast. It is now implanted in the lining of the uterus. This may cause very light bleeding or spotting, and you may notice in your vaginal discharge. If the bleeding or spotting you see is not light, consult a doctor right away.
Your body will start to produce pregnancy hormone HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin). HCG is the hormone that is detected by the pregnancy test kit or paper. At the end of this week, you may be able to get a positive test result. But it is recommended that you wait for a few more days before carrying out the test to ensure the reliability of your test result.
If you are eager to know your result, you should do it in the morning after you wake up. Do not drink any fluid before that as it may dilute the HCG level in the urine sample.
Many mothers may not feel any symptom like nauseous at all at this stage.
