Vitamin C and other antioxidants like zinc present in avocado can help to protect expecting mothers from attack by free radicals and pollutants.

Furthermore, avocado is really a superfood as it is packed with vitamins and minerals. Other than the vitamins and minerals mentioned above, it is also rich in vitamin K, vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and small amounts of magnesium, manganese, copper, iron and phosphorus.
