The baby bonus scheme is a scheme by Singapore government to support couples to have more children. It aims to lighten the financial cost of raising children in Singapore. It includes Cash Gift and Child Development Account (CDA) benefits.
Amount of cash amount from the government will depend on the birth order of the child. Details refer to the table below.

The Child Development Account (CDA) is a savings account for Singaporean children to help build up the savings which can be spent on approved used at Baby Bonus Approved Institutions such as child care centres, optical shop, hospitals and clinics.The CDA benefits comprise two parts. The first part is the CDA First Step Grant which will be automatically credited after CDA opening. The second part is the dollar-for-dollar Government co-matching for each dollar that parents deposit in the CDA, up to the co-matching caps shown in the table below.
