About The Music Scientist
The Music Scientist offers engaging Sensory, Science, Music, and Movement classes for children aged 4 months to 6 years, designed to spark curiosity and early learning. Our programs harness this crucial developmental window by blending music, science, and sensory exploration, turning abstract concepts into catchy tunes and hands-on activities. Through rhythm, melody, and play, we help children make sense of the world around them while enhancing auditory skills, confidence, and cognitive growth—laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
Our Programmes
Tenderfeet
(For 4 to 17 Months old)
Our programmes tap into the innate curiosity of children by encouraging them to explore their environment under close supervision. Since majority of the brain's synaptic connections are formed during the first few years of life, our classes begin at 4 months to harness this unique window of opportunity. At this phase, the brain is highly receptive to stimuli so our activities aim to support the firing of synapses, promoting cognitive, emotional, and social development.
Happyfeet
(For 18 to 35 Months Old)
At this age, young minds are like sponges, absorbing information and refining physical abilities at a rapid pace. Our engaging curriculum is crafted to stimulate cognitive growth, introducing age-appropriate concepts that set the foundation for greater exploration. Concurrently, we place a strong emphasis on balance and motor skills development, recognising their pivotal role in a child's overall well-being.
Groovers
(For 3 to 4 Years Old)
We introduce the joy of music, recognising its profound impact on cognitive development. By infusing each lesson with rhythm, melody, and play, we not only cultivate a love for music but also enhance a child's auditory skills and confidence, fostering a harmonious blend of fun and foundational learning.
Scouts
(For 4 to 6 Years Old)
We've crafted a unique blend of science and music to ignite young minds. Science concepts become catchy tunes, making learning both entertaining and unforgettable. The little ones also get to have their rockstar moment with various performances that will become fond childhood memories.
SMART-START English
(For 18 to 47 Months Old)
With hands-on learning and brain-teasing cognitive activities, we prepare toddlers for a smooth transition into preschool. The SMART-START Programme offers a holistic approach to early childhood education, fostering literacy, numeracy, creativity, and social-emotional growth through engaging and progressive activities.
SMART-START Chinese
(For 18 to 47 Months Old)
With hands-on learning and brain-teasing cognitive activities, we prepare toddlers for a smooth transition into preschool. Take it a step further with the add-on bilingual Mandarin programme to get children more comfortable with mother tongue acquisition at an early age. We refer to what is currently taught at preschools to guide children to explore the six learning domains outlined in the Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) framework.
